Tell them straight. Some people on myspace can make celeb sites that are not official. Have them check out the music pages. There will be multiple pages for the same artist. They also have to be careful about other people phishing their password, it happened to me. Make sure you are actually on myspace, the name should be in the bar on the top of the page. Although myspace is fun, it can also be a hangout for "less than honest" people.
