When your on myspace and you see a celebs profile, is it really them your talking too or is it a assistant? you know what i mean? how do you know its really them? ive always wondered that! any opinions?

In my own opinion...the celebs profile is by an assistant..most of the sites do state that..but when they don't..it still means that they don't..you have to be realistic..they really don't have time..that is what they say when they are interviewed..and the same goes when you send them a letter..it is really not them..in my space you run the risk of meeting a sexual predator..so just be careful...

It's really hard to tell. Most of them are "fan-based", so they are dedicating a site to their celeb.

It is a pain though ... when you try and find one, there are like 50 of the same person. Sucks ! But, sometimes you do get lucky and find a true celeb.

When I have looked at celeb profiles on there it says somewhere on there that it is an assistant and that the actual celeb. gets on sometimes. I really think that it is an assistant all the time though

It is probably an assistant. Sometimes the celeb may do some work on it or help the assistant but they probably don't do much.

It depends how famous they are. If they are just starting out, I'm sure it is them. Sometimes though, like the Ashton Kutcher site, there are just regular people who put his picture up and pretend to be him. I'm sure it happens with a lot of celebs.

i bet it's their assistant because like they really care enough to talk to us. Except for Carson Daly, because he is always talking about his myspace on hi show. Yes he has a show

I usually don't take it very seriously. I figure it's either an impostor or somebody who just wants to worship the celeb. Most celebs would be embarassed if they got caught having one. I did come across an Albert Pujols one that appeared to be authentic. Unbelievable.

In most cases it is some teenager pretending to be that famous person.. If it is an assistant it would tell you.
