i think they are made up by their assistants, and record labels. they can read them if they choose to though, some create them themselves and write postings, messages, etc. it depends on how involve the artist wants to be, but most artists are so busy you are probably posting a comment for their assistants to read instead of them.

Some are and some aren't. You can never really tell until the celebs add them to any official site(s) they may have. Or mention it in public or something.

I know I have a few real ones on my myspace. David Hewlett, Nathan Fillion and such.
