I wonder the same question. I think people just like to pretend to be celebrities to get a taste of what it feels like for people to pretty much drool over you...

First off, who is Miley? Secondly, they pretend to be people they're not because you ask dumb questions with no real answer on Y!Answers~

Ummm... well its cus they can't get any friends or anyone to like them without pretending to be famouse. They are insecure of themselfs and want to make friends..what better way to do it then pretend to be someone everyone likes !!!!!! A famouse person.

They have no life?

ha ha! Though some people run sites for celebs who asked them to do it as a friend. For example I run a band's site. The guys are WAY too lazy to do it themselves, but they answer their own email and I never claim to be them. Honestly fame is a pain in the @ss and I am very happy not to be a celeb.

Because young people worship celebrities like god's or graven idols. Its a sickness and the fakers want some of that worshipful adoration.
