Well you wouldn't know for sure and even if they have a lot of friends you wouldn't be able to tell cause look how many people on myspace try to get as many friends as possible. Just look at the bands...you don't really know if that is the real band or someone just uploading their music. Just look up a certain celeb like Tom Welling...look how many profiles pop up for him. So yeah how many of those profiles are actually his. So really you can't tell if it's the real one. So it could be someone pretending but it could be the real deal cause hey...they are human too and I'm sure they use the internet regardless of what their managers say.

Well, it's basically very simple. If they are a real celebrity, they should have many friends (as in 150,00+), not like the fake ones that only have about 100 friends. They should also have clear information about themselves. Then there's the simplest was to see if they're the real person. Look at the URL of the Myspace or the address. Let's say your looking at Beyonce's Myspace. The URL should say myspace.com/beyonce. Most of the time, people fake it and put in fake ones like myspace.com/itzdarealbeyonce. You can tell that it is fake because of the URL. If they weren't the real Beyonce and used the URL myspace.com/beyonce, let's just say they'll get in MUCH trouble. But I warn you, some people are so crazy, that they'll still use a URL like that. For example, Jared Leto does not have a Myspace, but there's an adress that says myspace.com/jaredleto, so be careful when adding celebrities and make sure to get the facts right.
